Favourite time of day to run: 6:00 warm up 6:25 start
Favourite shoe make: ascics
Favourite piece of kit: GARMIN 305/SKINS
Short term goal: 34min 10k in Busa Outdoors Track and field (getting a busa point)
Long term goal: 2009 Lincs xc Team
Worst injury and for how long: Ankle (still able to run but not very well for 6 months 2004)
Favourite race(s): north Rauceby (handicap)/The old christmass handicap/Swansea Busa XC/Bristol Busa XC
Worst race(s): Hubbard hills/ Louth London road/ Leeds Half marathon/ Grimsthorpe 10k/Lincoln 10k/Skegness
Best advice received: Well ive had loads of good Advice best i recieved would have been from Steve Jackson he taught me how to be motivated to train. This motivation has lead me to beat my Pb over and over again.
Worst Advice recieved: Drink the night before a race lol dint  work some how
My advice to other runners: Always concentrate on what you are doin not on what others are doin around you. SET EASY TARGETS, never try and set urself a terget that is too hard it will make life too stressfull.

Why do I run? Originally to get me out of the house, now to keep fit and its addictive!!!
Average weekly mileage: 20-30 miles.
Longest distance achieved: half marathon
Number of races per year: 10ish
Favourite terrain: multi terrain
Favourite time of day to run: Any time I can get out.
Favourite shoe make: Nike
Favourite piece of kit: Sports Bra(well I need it!!!)
Short term goal: Sub 2 hour Half.
Long term goal: Marathon when I have time to train properly!!!
Worst injury and for how long. : Knee injury that I was told by a orthopaedic consultant needed operating on, took me out of running for 8 months, on crutches for 3. Went to see sports physio, told it was muscle and ligament damage due to shoes and I was back running within 2 weeks
Favourite race(s): Race the Train Worst race(s): Louth cross country when they doubled the distance of the senior race with all the speedsters running and then me without telling us before!!! Best advice received: Wear in a pair of trainers, don’t just go out and run long runs in them
Worst Advice received: Go out an run in new trainers with no wearing in!!
My advice to other runners: Have Fun

Why do I run? initially to improve fitness for football & squash; later to prove something to myself; nowadays just for enjoyment and keep weight down.
Average weekly mileage: in the heyday 65-80 nowadays 12-15
Longest distance achieved: Full marathon+
Number of races per year: currently 4 or 5
Favourite terrain: Road
Favourite time of day to run: weekday evenings, sunday mornings

Short term goal: improve 5km time to nearer 23mins
Long term goal: full olympic distance triathlon quicker than last time
Worst injury and for how long: re-occuring back injury since 1991
Favourite race(s): all those I recorded PB's at over the years
Worst race(s): the only time I recorded a DNF (Todays Runner X-country League meeting)
Best advice received: John Holderness speedwork session on a track
Worst Advice recieved: NONE - all constructive but some just did not work for me
My advice to other runners: don't forget to stretch, you will suffer at some stage and always enjoy your running.
