2008 Track and Field Records - 2008 Junior times and distances for all the athletics meetings
After all 4 meetings in the Lincolnshire track and field season Sleaford Striders can celebrate another year of success. Two junior athletes are now ranked in the UK Athletics national standings and most who competed achieved a personal best in at least one event this is a reward for dedication to training and a reflection of the commitment of their parents in getting them to the events. The Boys junior team came fourth overall and the girls were just beaten into seventh place behind Newark. The Ladies team were also seventh in the final standings a feat made especially good by the fact that two of the competitors only took up athletics within the last year. The mens team finished ninth in the table.
